HEALTHY HOME SOLUTIONS
SERVING LOCAL FAMILIES, LIKE YOURS, FOR OVER 100 YEARS!
Since people spend between 60-90% of their lives indoors, most often in their homes, it is important to make sure that your space is as healthy as possible.
Poor indoor air quality can be a major health concern. If you or your family members suffer from the dry skin, itchy eyes, and headaches commonly associated with allergies, the air quality in your home could actually be making you feel worse.
Activities such as smoking, using air fresheners, burning candles, and even using certain household cleaning products can all contribute to indoor pollutants. Pet dander that accumulates in the ductwork is also a leading contributor.
Two out of three indoor air quality issues directly involve heating and cooling systems, as these systems will continuously pump these pollutants back into your home and the air you breathe. Stale smells in your home, excess dust, or cracked furniture can all point to signs that your indoor air quality is not as good as it should be.

Air Cleaners
Air cleaning equipment works to remove pollutants from indoor air. Home air cleaning equipment can be installed in the ductwork of a home’s central heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system. This allows the equipment to clean the air in the entire house. Ultra violet mold and germ-killing lights can also be added to your HVAC system for added clean air benefits.
Duct Sealing & Insulating
One of the most important considerations of maintaining high quality indoor air is ensuring proper airflow in and out of the home. If you find yourself constantly adjusting the thermostat to feel more comfortable or feel drafts throughout your home, you may have air leakage in your ducts, doors, windows, attic, or crawl spaces. This can allow unwanted outdoor contaminants to enter the home. If your ventilation measures, such as bathroom exhaust fans, aren’t working properly, these harmful materials can linger throughout your home. Let our BPI-certified auditors help pinpoint the problem spots in your HVAC system and perform the necessary measures to fix these infiltration issues.

Humidifiers
Humidifiers are often used in homes to relieve the physical discomforts of dry noses, throats, lips, and skin. They add moisture to the dry air to help alleviate the common nuisances caused by winter heating, including static electricity, cracks in paint and furniture finishes, and peeling wallpaper. Humidifier systems are installed directly into your existing central heating and cooling system. Water is then supplied to the humidifier. As warm air moves across it, the water evaporates and properly humidified air is distributed throughout the home.
Air Dehumidifier
An air dehumidifier works to remove moisture from wet indoor air. This can help balance indoor humidity levels, as well as minimize the potential for mold and other pollutants.
Duct Cleaning
Contaminants, such as dust, dust mites, pollen, and pet dander can collect in your ventilation system if they are not properly cleaned and maintained. Air duct cleaning can help to remove these contaminants. Our expert technicians can provide an advanced “source-removal” duct cleaning, using high-velocity air hoses and a high-power HEPA-Aire vacuum to dislodge and eliminate debris. If needed, they will also clean your duct surfaces with an environmentally safe sanitizing agent.
